Altus Student

Audeo Valley Charter School opened its doors for student enrollment in 2021 with a mission to transform education. Designed as an innovative model for reform, Audeo Valley (Latin for “I Dare”) serves students who have not found success in traditional schooling. By providing a personalized educational experience, AVCS meets the academic and social needs of students through a flexible, student-centered approach.

At Audeo Valley Charter School, students have the flexibility to accelerate their learning, the support to catch up, and the guidance to graduate with confidence. Our Resource Center provides a welcoming space where teachers offer one-on-one, personalized instruction. Courses are tailored to each student’s academic and career goals, developed in collaboration with counselors and parents at the time of enrollment. Additionally, specialized Student Pathways ensure that learning is aligned with individual needs and aspirations.

The 2023-2024 school year marked Altus Schools’ 30th year of serving the San Diego and Riverside County communities. Over the years, Altus Schools have consistently demonstrated success—both operationally and instructionally—while remaining committed to serving the students charter schools were designed to support.
